A Really Big Sandwich

I've wanted to put this up for a long time now...a little over a month ago we decided to try out this new deli near us. For those of you in town, it's Yosemite something-or-other next to Broilers in the Target shopping center on Willow and Herndon. So we go in and they have this great menu full of sandwiches and salads and your normal deli-type items. I ordered a cobb salad, which was also gigantic, and Kevin got this ham and turkey sandwich. Yes, it is huge. The picture doesn't even do it justice. When you look at the menu and see $6.50 to $7.50 for a sandwich, you usually just think it is a little pricey. But I think there was actually about two pounds of meat alone on this sandwich, which is about the going price in the grocery store. Kevin ate half of if while we were there and the picture shows the other half we took home. It was at least 6 inches high, no kidding. Over four inches of meat and cheese alone. The bread was pretty huge, so when the whole thing came out it actually was wider than it was tall. Just enormous. And yes, it was tasty, too.
